Kilifi

Kilifi is a town that sits on both sides of the estuary and linked by the Kilifi Bridge. The south side has the Mnarani ruins & Bofa beach, which is considered one of the most beautiful, uninhabited towns along the Kenyan coast, lined with palm trees, and the smaller Shauri Moyo beach on the south side of Kilifi Creek, ideal for sunbathing or relaxing! Kilifi is known for its beach and for the ruins of Mnarani, including mosques and tombs, dating from the 14th to the 17th century. Its most famous beach is Bofa Beach which is covered in endless white sand, with swaying palms and the Indian ocean waters. Other places to visit apart from Mnarani are;Vipingo ridge & Vuma cliffs.
