Fascinating emerald green rolling grasslands and hills form Chyulu Hills. This volcanic hill offers a fascinating mix of volcanic ash cones and barren lava flows.
Tucked-away between Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park, Chyulu Hills National Park boasts some of the best views of Kilimanjaro, a rugged jumble of ancient volcanic cones and craters, as well as the longest lava tube in the world. In addition to the breath-taking landscapes and views, Chyulu hills is home to a wonderful selection of game, including buffalo, antelope, elephants, leopards, wildebeest, and zebras. The birdwatchers’ paradise of Lake Jipe lies in the southwest corner of the reserve. This is a gem worth discovering.
