South Africa
South Africa is a popular place for tourists to visit with numerous tourist attractions.The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town has around 25 million visitors a year and is considered the most visited tourist attraction in South Africa. Durban, a huge Indian-influenced harbor city is known for the idyllic beaches of the Golden Mile. It boasts Jeffrey’s Bay with the best right-hand breaking waves in the world which is a surfers’ haven.
The Blyde River Canyon is the third-largest canyon on Earth, and also a “green canyon” which is dominated by subtropical vegetation. You will also find the world’s largest hand dug excavation site.With so many more tourist sites to visit ,South Africa is on the ‘bucket list’ for many.
Zambia
Zambia is mostly known for being home to the Victoria Falls which is famous for being the world’s largest sheet of falling water in the world and often called “smoke that thunders” due to the mist rising from the falls which can be seen from 30 miles away. For those visiting you have a dozen activities to do at the victoria falls like bungee jumping, swimming on devils pool, tandem sky diving,white water rafting and so much more. Uganda
Winston Churchill dubbed Uganda the ‘pearl of Africa’ due to its beauty, colour and profusion, dense misty forests, snow-peaked mountains, glassy lakes and sprawling savannas. While mountain gorillas are the main attraction for many visitors, they are certainly not the only attraction. Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks is a habitat to more than half the world’s population of endangered mountain Gorillas.
The park is also a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. Uganda also is home to the glacier and snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, “Mountains of the Moon”. For visitors wishing for a safari, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a welcoming site with wildlife attractions.
Tanzania
Tanzania is a popular tourist destination mostly known for the safaris and wildlife related adventures. Also mostly known for housing Africas, tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. It is best known for Serengeti national park with setting of endless savannah plains teaming with wild animals, best for the ultimate safaris.The annual Wildebeest Migration is also one of the major attractions in the pristine Serengeti Park, with a sighting of large predators roaming in the park. Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania, is home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater which is the world’s largest inactive, unbroken and unfilled volcanic caldera. Tanzania is a go to safari destination.
Morocco
Morocco is a North African country bordering the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. Marrakech in central Morocco is its popular tourist destination providing a taste of Morocco’s history and culture. Being North Africa’s highest mountain range, High Atlas is popularly known as the mountain of mountains great for anyone looking to hike along the beautiful views. Egypt
