Explore Uganda
Winston Churchill dubbed Uganda the ‘pearl of Africa’ due to its beauty, colour and profusion, dense misty forests, snow-peaked mountains, glassy lakes and sprawling savannas. While mountain gorillas are the main attraction for many visitors, they are certainly not the only attraction. Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks is a habitat to more than half the world’s population of endangered mountain Gorillas.
The park is also a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. Uganda also is home to the glacier and snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, “Mountains of the Moon”. For visitors wishing for a safari, Queen Elizabeth National Park is a welcoming site with wildlife attractions.
